Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms ("Terms") govern your use of the Faji website at faji.games and play.faji.games, and the Faji apps for Android and iOS (the "Service") operated by Faji ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. The Privacy Policy at faji.games/privacy also applies.

2. What the Service is

Faji is a collection of multiplayer party games played by a group of people in one room, each on their own phone. Cards are individual playable prompts, decks are curated for one game, and packs bundle decks across one or more games. A substantial free experience is available; optional deck and pack purchases, Party Pass, Faji+, advertising and sponsored content may be offered where available. The full price and access period are shown before any purchase is confirmed.

3. Accounts and guests

• You can play as a guest with just a display name, or use an available sign-in provider to keep a profile and eligible purchases.
• You're responsible for keeping access to your account, and for what happens in rooms you host or join under it.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, if higher).
• We can suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms, abuse other players, or tamper with the Service.

4. Age-restricted games and responsible play

Some games and decks — including Do or Drink and After Dark — are intended for adults (18+) and deal with mature themes and alcohol. A host who enables that content confirms the room is eligible; a participant's mature-content opt-out blocks that content for the room. If you use drinking content, you confirm you're of legal drinking age where you are. Prompts, dares and forfeits are suggestions for consensual fun, not instructions. Never feel pressured to do anything, never pressure anyone else, don't do anything unsafe or illegal, and know your limits — nobody needs a drink to have a good night.

5. Acceptable use

When using Faji, don't:

• harass, bully, dox or target other players, including via display names, answers or votes;
• share room codes or invites with people who weren't meant to be in the room;
• use the Service for anything unlawful, or to break laws about alcohol, gambling or content in your country;
• interfere with the Service — scrape it, overload it, bypass rate limits, reverse engineer it, or try to access other players' private data;
• resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service or its content.

6. Your content and conduct

Content you type into the Service includes display names, answers and private custom cards or decks. You keep ownership of what you write and give us a limited licence to store, process, moderate and show it as needed to provide and protect the Service. Private content is unlisted but may be reported by room participants. Don't submit content you don't have the right to share, or content that is unlawful, abusive or unsafe.

7. Our content

The Service itself — games, Faji Original cards, decks, packs, art, code, the Faji name and logo — is owned by us and our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use it to play. “Own permanently” means an ongoing content-access entitlement, not ownership of Faji's intellectual property. Safety or legal takedowns may require content substitution or removal. All rights reserved.

8. Purchases, passes and subscriptions

• Permanent deck and pack purchases require a Faji account and remain subject to verified payment, refunds, chargebacks and applicable store rules.
• A pack purchase grants the decks listed at purchase plus updates to those decks; a later new deck is not included unless the offer expressly says so.
• Party Pass grants an eligible host benefits for 24 hours, across one active hosted room at a time. It does not create permanent deck ownership.
• Faji+ is an auto-renewing subscription. It grants the benefits displayed for the current billing period and renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your plan and renewal price are always shown before you subscribe, and at each renewal.
• Apple purchases. Subscriptions and one-time purchases made in the iOS app are billed through your Apple ID via Apple's In-App Purchase. Renewal is charged to your Apple ID within 24 hours before each period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your device's App Store account settings, and request refunds from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Faji cannot bill you directly on iOS or cancel a subscription on your behalf.
• Google Play purchases. Purchases in the Android app are billed through your Google Play account. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play's payments & subscriptions settings.
• Faji Originals may be included with Party Pass or Faji+; licensed, creator or partner content may have separate terms.
• Restore and refund routes depend on the platform or payment provider. If a payment is reversed, the related entitlement may be revoked after any active snapshotted game finishes.

9. Advertising and promotions

Free use may include display, native, interstitial, sponsored or rewarded advertising. Advertising must not interrupt an active prompt, secret view, timer, vote or round. Rewarded advertising is optional and grants only the benefit shown before you choose it. Sponsored decks and packs are labeled.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the lights on, but we don't promise uninterrupted service, and we can modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service (including individual games) at any time. Game rooms are ephemeral by design; don't rely on them for storing anything important.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faji and its operators won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for anything arising from gameplay, dares, drinking, or the acts of other players. Our total liability for anything connected to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) the minimum required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that can't be excluded by law.

13. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time — just close the tab or delete the app, and ask us to delete your account if you have one. We can suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, or if we stop offering the Service. Sections 6–12 survive where their nature requires it.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service grows. We'll post changes here and update the "Effective" date above; material changes will be announced in the app or by email to signed-in players. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

15. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator of Faji is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Questions, or want your account deleted?
